He has only been considered for jobs in 2000 and 2010, so I am not sure where the 6-7 years comes from. I think there will always be a lingering chance that he could leave for the NBA, but I think after taking a good hard look he realized he is a college coach. He made it very clear he has aspirations to become a great college coach and take MSU’s program to new heights on par with the Dukes, UNCs, and Kentuckys of the world.
